This was made for a co-worker who was moving to another city, cool thing about him is, that his hobby was restoring vintage radios!  This card was PERFECT for him!

My Fair Lady Blog Hop

Hello to all my wonderful crafty friends,

Welcome to the My Fair Lady blog hop hosted by the one and only Gill M of Creations by Gill M.

If you arrived here from Gill's blog, then you are on the right track.  If not, please click on the link above to head back over to Gill's blog to follow from the beginning.

Here is my project for the hop!

Now, I did have a very hard time with this project at first.  Then I googled 'My Fair Lady' and came across this image made by an artist known as CQcat (Helen Huang).  I immediately fell in love with it and just knew that I needed to make a card featuring this image.  You can check CQcat out here.  She really is a talented individual!

I made this card for my grandmother's birthday.  She LOVES the movie My Fair Lady, so it only seemed fitting.

I must now send you over to Linda S, to check out what wonderful My Fair Lady project she has made for your viewing pleasure!

Thank you Gill of hosting this amazing hop and for including me in it!

CBGM Design Team - Shaped Dimensional Card Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!

Welcome back to the CBGM Design Team challenge hosted by the talented Gill M!

This month, we were asked to do a Shaped Dimensional card.  You know, some sort of shape that you would not normally make or work with.

This was a wonderfully fun challenge as the possibilities are endless to what you can create.  I have been dying to use my Paisley cartridge for Cricut for some time.  It has some really cute nesting doll cuts that I wanted to play around with.  This is what I came up with;

I am just in love with this card.  I cut the card using the Shadow option on the cartridge, and it was cut to 5".  This just came together so beautifully and now I have the perfect birthday card for my mother in law!

Don't forget that you can link up your Shaped Dimensional Card project over at Gill's blog!  We love to see what our wonderful followers make!  After all, you help inspire me.

Thanks for stopping by!
